To top it off, they brought my wife a red rose, and two chocolate covered strawberries as a gift. We had the chocolate cake for dessert which was a little dry on the outside, but the middle was moist and flavorful. The flavor of the meat with the sauce was one of the best steaks I have ever had. It was cooked as I ordered (medium rare) and was fantastic. I asked for a larger steak, which they were able to do with a minimal additional charge. The fish was excellent and the etouffee sauce was delicious. They have a very nice menu, but we went with their specials that night which were a sea bass with shrimp étouffée and a strip steak in an onion bourbon sauce. The room is small but the tables are well spaced out so. The hostess and waitress was very friendly and attentive. We had a reservation and was seated immediately when we arrived. My wife and I ate here for Valentine's Day and it was wonderful. A table next to us was very upset with their meal as well, and actually got into a fight with their server. At this point we pulled the plug and didn’t even order dinner and left. He smelled an almost empty bottle of wine and realized it was bad. I couldn’t find the server, so I took it up to the bar myself. The glass of wine I ordered was purely vinegar. Also they had bacon bits on it, which were so cold they were almost frozen. My husband salad with decent, but there wasn’t enough dressing for the size of the lettuce head they gave. I ordered the lobster bisque and my husband ordered the wedge. I mentioned and showed this to our server, and she laughed and said “oh”.

a few bites in, I bit on a good sized bone. It tasted like old school tuna casserole, which some may enjoy. It was basically cream of mushroom soup with pheasant.
